Thank you for joining our Spur Service: Get on Board Event!

The Get on Board: Spur Service Program is a one-day in-person event that will be held on two occasions in 2026:
  • Tuesday, April 21, 2026 (at Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington)  OR
  • Thursday, May 7, 2026 (at Delaware Technical Community College in Georgetown)
Each event expects to have an anticipated attendance of 125+ professionals interested in nonprofit board service. Half of the event programming will be designed for professionals who are new to boards while the other half will be designed for current nonprofit executive staff and senior leadership that work with boards as well as current board officers and board members. Whether you have never served on a board (and would like to) or have or are serving on a board and need a refresher, this will be a great program for you!

We want this program to be inclusive to anyone who is interested inbeing a more impactful nonprofit board member. This will help strengthen the Delaware nonprofit sector and talent pipeline. Following the event, Spur Impact will work to connect attendees of this event with potential nonprofit boards similar to what we’ve done with the leaders who have already gone through our cohort-based board training and matching program.
